Business Administration Traineeship

Proudly funded by the Queensland Government as part of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.

We know that financial independence is central to women’s empowerment and wellbeing and that, conversely, financial insecurity is a key contributor to poverty, homelessness, risk of abuse and violence against women. As an organisation, we strongly believe in empowering women through safety and economic participation and one of the best ways to do this is through the development of real skills in a safe and supported environment.

Through our paid Business Administration traineeships in Brisbane and Toowoomba, we teach personal and professional development, employability skills and career planning all while contributing to various community projects as an employee of YWCA Queensland.

This traineeship definitely helped me in polishing my skills and becoming more confident. The personal & professional development sessions helped me in defining my short term & long term goals. The management team were of great support in my career planning and they gave me a lot of interview tips all of which were really helpful for me.
